The Health and Temperance department will be hosting an exercise class weekly on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM in the Better Living Center (behind the church).
This class is a high impact cardio/aerobic workout. The class is based on the "Muscle Confusion" premise and will fit in with any already established exercise plan.
This class will start on Sunday (5 Sep). The last class for this workout series will be held on Sunday (28 Nov).

The Sierra Vista Seventh Day Adventist Church has started a women's ministry group. The group will begin hosting a bible study group. The point of contact for this bible study group or women's ministry events is Susan Tawney. Contact the church at 458-2641.
The groups first meeting will be held on 23 Aug 2010 at Susan Tawneys house: 4752 Calle Las Cruces. The study will begin at 6:00 PM.
Goals of Women's Ministries
1. To help the Church to utilize fully the potential, and preserve the human dignity of each member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. 2. To provide all members of the SDA church equal access to opportunities in areas of education and employment, as well as participation in all church activities. 3. To work to eliminate discrimination and prejudice toward women in any form that may exist in the SDA Church, on account of their sex or ethnic origin. 4. To help create an atmosphere that encourages productivity, rewards effort and initiative, and provides a spiritual climate in which each member of the Church can realize complete spiritual growth Women's Ministries links:

The Sierra Vista Seventh-day Adventish Church has started a T-shirt ministry in an effort to spread the GOOD News about God and his son Jesus Christ. The T-shirt Ministry is a way to raise money for special events and programs in the church and the community.
Anyone interested in ordering a t-shirt can print the form and mail to SV SDA P.O. Box 2076, Sierra Vista, AZ 855636.

The designs for the t-shirts were provided by a local artist (Ms. Karen Reid) to help this vital church ministry.
The first design poses an important "GOSPEL" question to all people.
The second design provides a graphical representation of the "Sabbath Truth" for believers.
Both designs are the intellectual property of Ms. Karen Reid and the Sierra Vista Seventh-day Adventish church. No unauthorized re-distribution is permitted. Permission to use the designs can be obtained from Ms Reid or the Sierra Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church Board.
