The audio leader is an audio technician who is responsible for the church audio equipment.  As the audio leader for the Sierra Vista Seventh Day Adventist church, the overall task is to oversee all the technical aspects of the audio control station, microphones, speakers and portable sound equipment.

The audio leader is a member of the audio/visual team.  The team consists of the audio leader, video leader, communications leader, and webmaster.  Each member of the team provides input into the presentation of the church service, programs, and special events. 

 

Audio leader duties:

One of the primary duties is to help church leaders in the presentation, recording, and sound levels are appropriate during any service, program or special event.  The audio leader monitors all aspects of the program to ensure smooth operation.

Maintenance - The audio leader spends the majority of their time maintaining the audio equipment.  Equipment maintenance, operation, and enhancements are but a few of the tasks that are include in the maintenance duties.  The audio leader is also responsible for maintaining the sound levels throughout the church service for all personnel attending the service.  The audio leader must strive to provide special audio equipment to hearing impaired guests and members.

 

 

The video leader is a video technician who is responsible for the church video capture and Graphic media production.  As the video leader for the Sierra Vista Seventh Day Adventist church, the overall task is to oversee all the technical aspects of the video presentation, production, and development of video media.

The video leader is a member of the audio/visual team.  The team consists of the audio leader, video leader, communications leader, and webmaster.  Each member of the team provides input into the presentation of the church service, programs, and special events. 

Video leader duties:

One of the primary duties is to help church leaders with the presentation of their specific ministry over various video media and formats.  The video leader monitors the all use of video equipment, presentation of video media, and development of CD/DVD produced for smooth operation and accessibility by quests and members.

Maintenance - The video leader spends the majority of his time maintaining the video equipment.  Video capture, editing, audio/video mixing, media production are but a few of the tasks that are include in the maintenance duties.  The video leader is also responsible for maintaining the video connection to the church through its Service Provider (SP).
