This important office is and elected office and its importance can be minimized.
The Treasurer can greatly encourage faithfulness in returning to tithe and deepen the spirit of liberality on the part of the church members.
A word of counsel given of the Master will help the brother or sister to render faithfully to God His own tithes and offerings, even in time of financial stringency.

Types of funds the church maintains:
In order for the church to better manage its funds, the church has initiated a combined budget beginning in Feb 2009.
Combined Budget (Local Church Budget) includes: Church phone, gas, water, electric, office supplies, sanitation, Sabbath school expense, personal ministry, church family assistance, community service, social committee, audio/video, savings, and insurance.
Any offering designated as "Local Church Budget (Combined Budget)" will be distributed to the above areas.

Special offerings and projects will be inserted in the bulletin on a case-by-case basis to inform members of its goal accomplishment.
